Make a nautical looking lamp
What you will need:
- Old Lamp
- Jute rope
- Glue gun
- Scissors
Method:
- Pick an old lamp that needs some sprucing up. But do not use a lamp with a plastic base.
- Measure how much rope you will need with a tailor’s tape.
- Begin wrapping your rope at the back or your lamp base, where the power cord is exposed.
- Using your glue gun, stick the rope in one continuous ring around the entire base of your lamp until you arrive at the top.
- Remove any excess rope with sharp scissors.
